Photograph the Kansas City Skyline via Kaw Point Park

Located behind Kaw Point industrial Park is Kaw Point park. This park is located right where the Kansas and Missouri Rivers meet. It has historical significance too, the Lewis and Clark expedition actually camped at this spot for a couple of nights to rest, repair their boats, and to explore around the area. 

There are a couple paved trails in the very small park. To get to the best lookout, head to the very tip of the park where you will find a statue, sit on a rock and enjoy the view. 

As opposed to other lookout points throughout Kansas City, this is less popular than others. And in my opinion the best one since you are away from big crowds, city noise, and right on the river, looking at the Kansas City skyline in its entirety. 

For directions, just simply enter "Kaw Point Park" into your phones GPS and it will take you to the parking lot. it is such a small park that you can just hop on any sidewalk and head in the direction where you can see the skyline the best and you will find the statue and the best vantage point mentioned above.
